All Things Metal

“Three blacksmith brothers operate an iron forge where they explore craft, music, and a life of creativity together.”

A loving exploration into the eccentric world of metal craft, artistry and brotherhood, All Things Metal tells the story of the tight-knit Patterson brothers – Santa Barbara natives who operate a forge where they hand-craft beautiful pieces of heirloom ironwork and indulge in their passion for heavy metal music. The brothers’ commitment to creative self-expression was forged in a childhood marked by familial uprootings and disability diagnoses that bonded them together.
In following the production of their next music video; a campy Halloween horror song featuring a 12ft pumpkin monster, we capture the relentlessly creative energy of a family whose artistic bonds sustain them to this day.
