Voces de Old Town Carpinteria

“Voces de Old Town Carpinteria is a short documentary that captures the stories of former students who attended Aliso Elementary School during a period of segregation "For Mexicans Only".”

Carpinteria historian Dr. Jim Campos explains a dark period of Carpinteria history that is viewed also through the lens of students (aged 80s to 102!) who attended Aliso School during the period of 1920-1947. Their reactions may surprise some.
