Short Biography About Filmmaker: I'm a local filmmaker that grew up in Ventura County and filmmaking has been a passion of mine since childhood. I am a self taught filmmaker with a life long network of colleagues, friends and family that have constantly worked together in envisioning each other's ideas supporting each other's productions. I believe the best way to learn how to make a film is to show your film to someone and watch films made by others. Soon you will see what resonates with you and your audience. What type of films do you most love to create?: "A Scream For Peace Production" is any effort to sync the differences in customs, traditions, concepts, beliefs, and lifestyles that separate individuals in a society through the power of metaphor and storytelling. A Scream For Peace Production is not just a name of a company but it is any action that brings the lives of our ever expanding world closer together.
Any notable awards or recognitions?: Scream For Peace Productions has had films shown at the Oxnard, Ventura Film Festival and now the Alcazar Theater in Carpinteria.
Fun fact or interesting tidbit about yourself: I, Joseph Lopez, have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology Liberal Arts Degree, Associate of Science Degree in Biotechnology and years of independent filmmaking experience in Ventura County.
