Short Biography About Filmmaker: Giselle Vazquez-Ramirez is a first-generation filmmaker and founder of A Good Vibe Production, creating bold visual stories that celebrate culture, identity, and resilience. With experience at BuzzFeed, Warner Brothers, Netflix, and top production companies, she works as a director, producer, and editor across film, TV, and branded content. A member of Women in Film, Chicana Director’s Initiative, and Latinas Acting Up, she is based in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
What type of films do you most love to create?: Comedy. Anything that involves, family, friendship, and becoming one's true self.
Any notable awards or recognitions?: Directed a Music Video that was an Official Selection for Chicano Hollywood's Film Festival.
Fun fact or interesting tidbit about yourself: The first movie I directed was a 6th grade school project. My Canalino school teacher gave me an A.
